St Michael's Mount, Cornwall
08/05/12St Michael's Mount, Cornwall
If you have read the phlog in order you will know that this was on a better day on our recent trip to Cornwall. We walked across the causeway to the mount and wandered both the grounds and the house itself. A great day out. The gardens were really worth visiting.
This photograph is of the gardens with the house visible in the top of the frame. The detail in this image is fabulous and a testament to the quality obtainable from the Sigma 10-20 mm lens that is my landscape workhorse. The usual tripod set up was used with an exposure of 1/50 second at f13 and a focal length of 10mm on my 7D. The ISO was 100 (I did say the weather got better as the week went on). A grand day out for both of us.
