Slater's Bridge, Cumbria

Just back from a week in the Lake District with Sarah and the Duches (the campervan). We stayed near Coniston and had fantastic weather - really clear skies (too clear perhaps but then I do want a cloud now and again to punctuate a blue sky) and we did plenty of walkingaround the area. Had a bit of a disaster when I lost one of the handles from my tripod but managed to cobble together a stop gap solution with paracord. This is a photograph of Slater's Bridge. The halfway point on a walk we took. The bridge is old (more recemntly repaired) and beautifully crafted from rock and stone. Reflections were great and we spent a little while here (mostly on our own) with lunch and quietness. Bliss.
